Do I have to transfer my Squarespace domain?

No. Pointing the domain's DNS at Shopify works too, and you can transfer it later if you want your domain and store in one place. Only do one change at a time.

Will my site look the same?

It can look very similar, but it will not be identical, because Shopify themes work differently. We match the feel and improve product and cart pages along the way.

What happens to my blog?

Shopify has a built-in blog, so posts can move over, but formatting usually needs a review. Shopify blog URLs follow a set pattern, so posts need redirects as well.

Should a small shop stay on Squarespace?

If you have a small catalog or sell services alongside a strong brand site, Squarespace may be all you need. We will say so if that is your situation.
