Odoo Cost Guide

What Does an Odoo Implementation Cost?

Most Odoo sites avoid this question. Here is how the budget breaks down: the subscription you pay Odoo, the project you pay an implementer, and the costs people forget.

Three Costs Make Up the Budget

The Odoo subscription

Odoo charges per user. In late 2026 its pricing page lists Standard from about $25 and Custom from about $49 per user per month, depending on billing term and discounts. Check odoo.com/pricing for current rates.

The implementation project

Scoping, configuration, data migration, integrations and training. This is usually the biggest number, and it depends on your complexity far more than your user count.

Running costs

Support, upgrades, and hosting if you use Odoo.sh or your own servers. Odoo.sh hosting is billed separately from the user subscription.

Published Implementation Estimates

These are ranges published by Odoo service companies, not a Texvion quote. Your cost depends on your scope.

CompanyTypical scopePublished costPublished timeline
Small, 5 to 15 usersA few standard apps, simple data$10,000 to $30,0001 to 3 months
Mid-market, 50 to 200 users5 to 8 apps, integrations$40,000 to $120,0003 to 6 months
Large or complexMany sites, heavy customization$150,000 and up6 to 12+ months

What Pushes the Cost Up

  • Custom modules instead of standard features
  • Messy or multi-system data migration
  • Integrations with other software
  • Multiple companies, currencies or warehouses
  • Migrating years of history
  • Training that gets left until the end

How to Get a Reliable Number

  1. List processes

Write down what the system must do. Vague scope means a vague estimate.

  2. Count integrations

List every system Odoo must talk to, and what data moves.

  3. Assess your data

Decide how much history you truly need and how clean it is.

  4. Compare like for like

Ask each provider what is excluded, especially migration, training and support.
